Snow Buddies

Winnipeg had a massive snow storm this past weekend. We got like a foot of snow! So everyone was basically stuck in their houses for a day and when we got to our vans, they were totally snowed in. It took us a while to get them out, but we had no time to actually shovel the driveway. So yesterday, we decided to tackle the beast (our driveway). But there were a few problems. 1) That we only had 2 shovels, and 2) That it was a huge job since a lot of the snow was ice. So we ended up calling a few of our guy friends here in Winnipeg and they brought over more shovels and helped us clean up the whole driveway!! It took us an hour or so of hard work in the freezing cold, but they stuck it out with us. Aren’t they great? Then we made them hot chocolate to say thanks. Having the guys’ help made shoveling a lot more fun and take a lot less time. Next time your parents ask you to shovel the driveway, just invite over some friends and do it together! Then you have a great excuse for some yummy hot chocolate!
