Christmas!!

I’ll be home in 3 days! I’m so excited because that means CHRISTMAS!! Every year, my family hosts a neighborhood carolling party at our house. I live in the country, pretty much the middle of nowhere actually, so our neighbors are actually pretty far away. We live in a little clearing in the middle of cow fields and forests. Anyways, a bunch of our neighbors come over and we all squish into our music room and sing carols with my dad playing piano and my friends dad playing guitar. Then, everyone brings their favorite Christmas goodies and we all hang out and visit. We’ve had this party every year ever since I can remember. It’s not Christmas until we’ve had the party! Usually we have it during the first two weeks of December, but everyone decided to wait until I got home this year. It hasn’t really felt like Christmas yet. Maybe because Winnipeg has no snow yet, but it will really be Christmas when I get home!! Merry Christmas!
